And So Brightest Day Rises!

DC has announced Brightest Day, the new storyline that will follow Blackest Night. Read the full story here at Newsarma:

Ok, show of hands, who DIDN'T see this coming? I'm a little shocked that the main series is going to be 26 bi-weekly issues, but I'm not surprised that DC is following the mega-successful Blackest Night with the flip side, Brightest Day.

More details as they become available.

  1. Hehe, Brightest Day that's cute.

I've waiting for a hint of the first "White Lantern" for a couple months now and I think it's going to be Dove. So I'm guessing that the White Lantern will have the power to bring a Black Lantern back to the world of the world of the living, and I'll bet that Brightest day will bring the return of some dead heros like Aquaman, and I'm hoping we will see a Hawkman & Atom book come out of this.

I'm sure some villains will come back too. Green Lantern Rebirth led to The Sinestro War, which led to Blackest Night and All of It has been some of the most exciting comics I've read in a very long time, and I'm sure going to be in the front seat waiting to see how Geoff Johns wraps the whole thing up.
